Chef Chris Chung’s hot new izakaya has been receiving rave reviews! His innovative approach to offers an innovative take on Japanese gastro-pub food blended with French and international speak volumes to his culinary path and influences.
A native Hawaiian, Chef Chris was inspired at age 8 by a meal at Joel Robuchon’s Macao restaurant. He met Chef Ken Oringer in 2004 at the renowned “Clio” where he ran operation of the outstanding sashimi bar “Uni.”
In 2010 Chef Chris opened Aka Bistro in Lincoln with much success. This, his newest venture, is perhaps the culmination of his culinary and gastronomic endeavors!
Located in Inman Square, Cambridge the 27seat property will be opened solely for the enjoyment of the Boston ChaIine and we will enjoy short a reception followed by Chef’s outstanding food with sake pariings by from perhaps the city’s best sake sommerlier.
